Harrison's Tomb

In case you didn't catch Kyler's mom's post about their recent visit and our trip to Harrison's tomb, here's a picture-book tale for you. I mostly just like the blue sky in these photos :)

The entrance to the memorial. We weren't sure why the flag was flying at half-mast. I mean, it is a tomb...

It looks like a mini-Washington Memorial.

Pretty sunshine!

Inside the tomb. We couldn't go any further than these bars, but the plaque there tells of Harrison's family and who's buried there with him. See how short those empty spaces are where no one's been buried? This family must be very short to fit in there ;)

And over to the side is where the President is buried with his wife.

It was a nice little stop on a great day for a drive in the country. Blue skies, windows rolled up, and the AC blasting inside. Ahhhhh....

  1. Hey...how'd you get such a good photo of Harrison's tomb? I couldn't get past those crazy bars...guess my camera was too big.

I don't think we've seen such blue skies since...

Love you both! See you next weekend!
